Most CDROM Drives look like this one from the back.
The Toslink Transmitter (Signal) should be wired to the pin labeled digital.
The power can be tapped off the CDROM power supply.
Please be sure to use the +5 volt source otherwise you might destroy the device with the excess voltage.
